Can I order over the phone?
Yes, we would be
more than happy to take your motorcycle luggage order over the
phone. We are available each day (including weekends) to take orders from
10:00
A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Pacific Standard Time. If you call us and no one answers the phone, please
leave your name and phone number for us so we can call you
back. Sometimes we get a lot of phone calls all at once and we
do not have enough people or enough phone lines to get them all
at the same time. But, we do appreciate the call and will call
you back.
It should be noted that we basically have to go
through the same steps to get an order completed for you that
you have to go through to place one on the Internet. Both you
and we get a cleaner order when you place it on our website, so please take the
time to do it yourself when you feel comfortable with it.
Do you sell and
ship motorcycle luggage internationally?
At this
time our website is set up to only take orders from the United
States and Canada. However, we can accept orders from
elsewhere but they must be placed over the telephone or by
using our fax order form which can be found by clicking on this
link.
If you are
from the U.K. and want us to get you a quote on
shipping one of our products to you, it is best to
e-mail us and request a shipping quote or fill out the fax order
form and fax it to us with the request. Once we have quoted you
the price and you want to complete the purchase, then it really
is helpful if you would complete the fax order form and fax it
to us with your order. Because of the time differences,
telephone orders are difficult and we do not want you sending
your credit card information via e-mail.
Do I need a
luggage rack?
If you
are going to buy a sissy bar (backrest bar) bag then you really
do need to have a luggage rack. The last thing you want to
do is to mount your luggage on your sissy bar and have it
touching your rear fender and scratching your paint.
A number of
the bags that we carry can be mounted forward so that they
actually sit on the seat behind the driver. The Tombstone
Backrest Bag was designed to mount forward and act as a driver
backrest, providing lumbar support. The Kuryakyn GranTour bag
was designed to mount on the rear portion of your seat utilizing
a strap system--so a luggage rack isn’t absolutely required. It
also happens to have a backrest mounting system so that it can
be mounted to a sissy bar and sit on your luggage rack.
